Ensure the preservation, restoration, and repurposing of the Dairy Barn at the Central Louisiana Hospital site.
To facilitate efforts toward fulfilling this goal, the HACL has appointed board member Dave Curry
as their advocate for the Dairy Barn. Curry will represent the HACL working collaboratively toward this goal through partnerships with other public and private organizations and individuals that are actively pursuing or have potential interest in all or part of this goal.
Visit the Save the Dairy Barn at Buhlow Lake committee which has published a structural assessment of the building, has formed a non-profit organization and are raising funds to begin restoration, focusing on the North wall first. They are leading the way and the Historical Association of Central Louisiana supports their effort.
