We congratulate Save the Dairy Barn at Buhlow Lake upon completion of this notable project, repairing the north wall of the Dairy Barn at the Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville. The Dairy Barn is a unique and iconic structure which is part of the State of Louisiana owned CLSH property. A concerned group of citizens have made a great contribution to the area, raising funds and negotiating with the state for the right to repair this historic barn. Let's hope that

On September 6, 2018 the North Wall Project sponsored by Save the Dairy Barn at Buhlow Lake began. The HACL is a supporter of this project and congratulates the Save the Dairy Barn at Buhlow Lake organization for this accomplishment, their phase I project to save this historic structure which is part of the Central Louisiana State Hospital in Pineville and owned by the Louisiana Department of Health. Your donations have made a difference! March 7, 2018 - Save the Dairy Barn at Buhlow Lake (SDBBL) notified the HACL that the Cooperative Endeavor Agreement between SDBBL and the Department of Health at Central State Hospital and the State of Louisiana has been signed by all parties. That basically allows SDBBL to begin work on the north wall of the Dairy Barn! #DairyBarn

The Save the Dairy Barn at Buhlow Lake organization has announced that Rebekah Gauthier, a senior at Pineville High School, has started a project to raise $70,000 to help save the Dairy Barn.
