Please review the attached invitation to a wonderful Sunday afternoon picnic in the historic Rapides Cemetery, a National Register property.

Please note that due to the rain and soggy grounds at the Rapides Cemetery, our Annual Party and celebration of the work accomplished at the Rapides Cemetery will take place THIS SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 2 p.m. at the PINEVILLE COMMUNITY CENTER located at 708 Main Street in Pineville.

Rain is predicted for Friday and Saturday, and we felt it best to move the festivities to the Community Center. Those of you who want to view the work at the Cemetery will be escorted by a Cemetery Worker who will help you find what you want to see in the Cemetery.

Remember that Lt Gov. Nungesser is slated to be with us. HACL will be presenting a $5000.00 check to the fine work being done at the Cemetery.

Jason Church, a national expert on restoring/repairing cast iron, will give a brief talk on his work in the cemetery and you will be able to examine some of his best work, right here in our local Rapides Cemetery.
